LN-200 Inertial Fiber Optic Gyro
Autumn has officially arrived in New York City. The days are now much more crisp and the countdown begins to the Christmas tree selection here at Rockefeller Center; quickly it will become the holiday season! Enter the month of October, and we are featuring a great and highly reliable IMU.
The LN-200 is a versatile, light weight, super reliable, advanced, fiber-optic, all-altitude, strap down Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). If that was not enough, it comes in an ultra-small size. The LN-200 has 3 solid-state fiber-optic gyros and 3 solid-state silicon MEMS accelerometers in a very small package that measures velocity and angle changes in a coordinate system fixed relative to its case. Digital output data of incremental velocity and incremental angle are provided to the user over a digital serial data bus. This inertial fiber optic gyro is hermetically sealed and contains no moving parts, ensuring low noise, long usage and shelf life.
The LN-200 is available in 0.5, 1.0 and 3.0 deg/hr gyro bias classes of performance.
The LN-200 can be installed with variations of software, including:
- Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS)
- Motion Compensation
- Electro-optical/FLIR / Camera / Radar Stabilization
- Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Flight Controls
- ACMI/TSPI (Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation/ Time, Space, Position)
